Two Men Wanted For Robbery, Shooting At Raleigh Convenience Store

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are searching for two men wanted in the robbery and shooting of a convenience store customer last week.

Investigators said a customer, whose identity was not released, was leaving a convenience store at Capital Boulevard and Brentwood Road at about 12:45 a.m. Oct. 10 when he was shot in the back and robbed of a chain necklace about 30 inches long.

The bullet severed the victim's spinal column, paralyzing him from the waist down.

Police said the assailants, who fled on foot, were both black men between the ages of 18 to 25 years old. One man, authorities said, had a light complexion, thin build and stood about 5 feet 5 inches tall. The other man had a dark complexion, thin build and stood about 5 feet 9 inches tall.
