RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Raleigh and Wake Forest are still looking for a robber they say targeted two discount stores in Wake County last month.

Authorities said the same man robbed Dollar Tree on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh Sept. 19 and Your Dollar Store on Capital Boulevard in Wake Forest on Sept. 20. In both robberies, police said the man implied he had a weapon.

The robber was described as being a white man in his 30s with brown hair, standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He also had a "scruffy," disheveled appearance, wore clothes that one witness described as "dirty" and was unshaven.
