RALEIGH, N.C. — Pieces and parts from the site of the Raleigh's new convention center are actually worth something.
Demolition debris from four buildings knocked down to make way for the new convention center were valued at about $8,000 when it was recenlty recycled at a local plant.
Of the 239 tons of debris, 83 percent was able to be reused.
