RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested a man Friday night who had eluded them for two months, police said.

Police said 21-year-old Justin McClendon shot Sylvester Maule four times during a home invasion in August. Maule has been released from the hospital and continues to recover.

On Friday night, police arrested McClendon and charged him with attempted murder.

He is being held in the Wake County jail on $1 million bond.
