DUNN, N.C. — Police have a charged a woman with first-degree murder for a fatal shooting in Dunn.
At about 4:30 p.m. Friday, officers found Channing Strickland shot to death at his residence on Duke Street.
They arrested 27-year-old Shon'ta Jones, who also lived at the residence, on Friday evening and charged her with first-degree murder.
Jones, who is expected to make her first court appearance on Monday, is being held in the Harnett County jail without bond.
Police have not released the relationship between Jones and Strickland.
