JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A teenager is dead after an early morning car crash in Johnson County.
Connie Tart Jr. was traveling westbound on Brogden Road when he lost control of the car and hit a ditch. Tart's car overturned and hit some trees.
The 19-year-old was ejected from the vehicle. He died on the scene.
Investigators say speed was a factor in the accident.
