DURHAM, N.C. — A man representing himself in his own murder trial wants to make sure prospective jurors do not know more about his case than they should.
Robert Petrick filed a request asking that all jurors fill out a lengthy questionaire.
Petrick is accused of killing his wife, Janine Sutphen, more than two years ago. Prosecutors claim he tied her up in chains and dumped her body in Falls Lake.
Trial is set to begin Oct. 31.
