Hundreds Of Temporary Workers Needed For State Fair

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Employment Security Commission is looking to hire several hundred temporary workers for this year's state fair.
Individuals interested in working at the
North Carolina State Fair
can apply for jobs with the ESC at the fairgrounds starting next week.
The ESC will open its job service facility at Gate 10 Monday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. and will remain open everyday until the last day of the fair. Except for that first Monday, the center is open everyday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Individuals can go there to apply to work in a variety of temporary jobs ranging from food service positions to ride assembly and disassembly. The ESC asks that anyone interested in applying for a job to bring a photo ID and Social Security card with them.
This year, the state fair runs from Oct. 14 to Oct. 23.
