Consultants Provide Critique Of Durham Civic Center

DURHAM, N.C. — Some consultants had some tough words for the Durham Civic Center.

The consultants were hired to scrutinize the facility. They said the civic center needs tighter management, better marketing and a major renovation to attract more conferences.

After hearing the report, county commissioners said local leaders should make fixing the civic center's problems their first order of business.
