Raleigh Begins Effort To Stop Graffiti

RALEIGH, N.C. — The city of Raleigh launches a new effort Monday to get rid of grafitti.

More than $200,000 is committed for a graffiti removal team. The idea is to fight gang activity.

The new program will first concentrate on public rights of ways like bridges and overpasses.

The ultimate goal is to even remove graffiti from private property free of charge.
