Father Sought for Leaving Toddlers Alone
Spring Lake, N.C. — A Cumberland County couple who left their two toddlers home alone faced criminal charges Tuesday night.

Spring Lake police said they had arrest warrants charging James and Marcia Hunt with child abuse.

A family friend found the 1- and 2-year-old children Sunday night inside their Spring Lake mobile home. They were unharmed, and are now staying with their grandmother.

Police said James Hunt is also wanted for violating probation.

To all of you out there who are running these two and there family in the ground...The bible says that those without sin cast the first stone.Well I know for a fact that NONE OF US ARE WITHOUT SIN!!!Read your bible people.Instead of putting this family through the ringer you should be praying for them!Let me just say this, I don't agree with what Marcia and Kelly did but I love her and her husband and their two precious children,BUT WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES.And yes I do have two children and I have never left them alone.My children are my life.White trash does not bread white trash and her parents are not white trash,by the way,the are just the same as the rest of us they have made wrong choices.You see Marcia is a product of her environment.Marcia is a really good girl and she does love her kids.And to you little Miss Hellosunshine if you are who I think you are and I'm sure you are you are no better with you kids either and you use drugs only in the pill form.And we'll pray for you too!

I'm not making excuses here but that's how Marcia was brought up. I've known her all her life. Her mother was very young when she got pregnant with Marcia. Her father has been in and out of drug rehab. Marcia was just a kid herself when she got pregnant. She does have 2 wonderful grandmothers and I'm afraid they will be the ones left to raise the kids. I hate to say it but white trash breeds white trash and that's what these 2 (maybe 3) kids will become too.

intercepts2002, there is nothing so important that they have to leave those kids alone. Kids don't ask to be brought into this world, they are a blessing from GOD, so take care of them don't neglect and/or abuse them.Pick both parents up by their ankles and slap them together. My prayers go out to the families and especially the kids.

i have a 1 year old and can't imagine leaving him unwatched for a second! i have older kids (18 and 23) and they were teens before staying alone. some people shouldn't have the pleasure of having kids
