HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Harnett County woman is charged with felony child abuse.
Sheriff's deputies say Donna Alfonso's 4-month-old daughter had five fractures and blood on the brain.
A social worker at Womack Army Medical Center alerted authorities after Alfonso brought her daughter in.
Investigators believe the baby was shaken. The 4-month-old was released from the hospital and is in foster care.
