RALEIGH, N.C. — This year's
promises the most Midway rides in fair history.
Wade Shows, the company providing this year's Midway, plans as many as 110 rides, including five roller coasters and three tower drop rides.
The increase is designed to boost customer satisfaction.
"More ride capacity on the Midway will make the waiting times shorter," said Frank Zaitshik, owner of Wade Shows. "We will also be adding additional ride personnel and queue line systems that we have used at some of our other state fairs to keep the waiting time at each ride to a minimum."
The fair runs from Oct. 14 to Oct. 23.
