Durham Police Investigate Double Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Police Department is investigating a double shooting that happened Tuesday night.
Police said officers were called to an incident at the
700 block of Eva Street
at about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday and discovered a 25-year-old male had been shot in the leg and buttocks.
Several minutes later, officers were then called to a shooting in the
700 block of Hopkins Street
, where officers discovered a 31-year-old male who had been shot in the arm and chest.
Both males were transported to Duke University Hospital for treatment.
Investigators said they believe the two men shot each other during an argument on Hopkins Street.
No charges have been filed in the shootings at this time, police said.
