I love how this has turned into a flaming. The cop was at fault, I was in the green mazda you see pictured in the background and I was one of the two people taken to the hospital. Fortunately I was the passenger and only sustained a concussion and other minor injuries. The driver has at least one broken bone and is getting x-rays tomorrow to determine the full extent of the damage. For the time being the police have yet to file an accident report however everyone I talked to when I regained consciousness told me the cop was at fault. I can tell you now that that picture does not do justice to the true damage that was dealt to my car. Feel free to e-mail me if you want to see a picture of what the car looked like after they pulled the police cruiser out of it.

SPIRTWOMAN - you rush to judgment on stories all the time so why are you surprised when ppl do the same or call you out on it....?

  • givitanam Feb 12, 2007

You want to know why, because this is an American forum and people can say whatever they want. You don't have to agree, get over it "spirit".

    rlehew1 -
Don't understand what your concern is, especially with my post last week regarding abortion? The Wade vs. Roe decision was not about abortion, it was about equal rights, for both the mother and the father, many of whom have been walking away from unwanted pregnancies for centuries.
My concern is folks who judge others before even hearing all the facts, which is always an unwise and naive thing to do.

wouldn't post it all but so much for calling someone else ignorant or uncivilized..you got some nerve you so called REV......

  • Dayum Krazy Feb 12, 2007

here's what the REV RB said last week about council of state approves death penalty protocol:
Abortionists kill at the request of someone else who, because it is their
body, have the same right to end a pregnancy as did the fathers who for centuries, walked
way scott free from an unwanted pregnancy, and that is the true crux of Roe v. Wade, not
simply ending an unwanted pregnancy, but to level the playing field between males and
    females, as it were.
Though those of us who are civilized would agree with there being no pain during executions, it's hard to understand why a doctor present could not assess that so the executioners could make the necessary adjustments to alleviate that pain while still carrying out the sentence. I can understand why the present doctors could not make a recommendation or push a button, because then THEY would be carrying out the execution instead of the executioner. But the lines here seem pretty cut and dried, so the reason for the discord is con

WHY ON EARTH IS IT THAT SO MANY IGNORANT PEOPLE RUSH TO JUDGEMENT AND SHARE THEIR VIEWS REGARDING THINGS LIKE THIS. WHO APPOINTED YOU JUDGE OR JURY? THE ACCIDENT IS STILL BEING INVESTIGATED, SO HUSH UNTIL ALL THE DETAILS ARE IN AND HAVE BEEN AIRED. AMEN!!!
Even if this was the officer's fault, and the news reports have stated so, intelligent civilized folks realize that everyone makes mistakes. We should be celebrating the fact that no one was seriously hurt.
Praying for the ignorant and uncivilized. sigh
