Durham Police Looking For Bank Robbery Suspect

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Friday morning in downtown Durham.

Police said that a man entered the SunTrust bank at 111 Corcoran St. around 10:20 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen. He was last seen walking away from the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 50s or early 60s with a receding hairline. He was wearing a faded gray Old Navy T-shirt and work pants.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,200 and the North Carolina Bankers' Association is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
