Puppy Among Those Treated By N.C. Medical Team In La.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina medical team in Mississippi recently treated its first victim of Hurricane Katrina.

Hurricane survivors brought a dehydrated puppy to a state-of-the-art mobile hospital.

More than 100 doctors, nurses, and paramedics are working out of the mobile hospital in Mississippi.

The medical team has treated several human patients since helping the puppy.
