Two Students Charged With Having Weapon On School Grounds

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two Broughton High School students are not in class because they are in trouble with the law.

Raleigh police say a 15-year-old was pulled out of class and had a pistol.

In a separate incident, police arrested 16-year-old Everette Saunders and charged him with assault on a government official and possession of a weapon on school grounds.

Police say Saunders assaulted a school administrator and security officer. They say he had a knife.
