e-mail print friendly
A Cumberland County teen was killed Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle crashed into a tree.

According to Highway Patrol investigators, Nicholas Allan Damone, 16, was on his way to pick up his mother on Countryside Drive and driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car, ran off the road and struck the tree.

Damone and another teen inside the vehicle were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where Damone was pronounced dead on arrival. The other teen suffered non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

Damone was a student at Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville.

how can all of you be arguing about responsibility and riligion when we're talking about a persons life how can you be so unfeeling god bless you nick

roseyk00, I have issues with all hypocrisy and ignorance, not just the Christian variety. Everyone prays that the family feels better because that’s what they are taught in Sunday School Christianity. But the bible teaches you that if you only have the faith of a tiny mustard seed, if you only ask, you shall receive. What am I doing to bring comfort to the family? Why I’m praying that their love one is restored to life, JUST LIKE in the bible, just like Jesus teaches us. Those with less faith (or those clueless about what the bible really says) pray for things like they hope the family feels better.

As for your prayer of God revealing Himself, please ask Him to do it via a burning bush. That’s my favorite.

Nick, was in my 4th period and he was such a charming guy!! I will miss his smile and warm personality!!! And I will be praying for his family!!!! Nick you will be missed!!!!!!

I too pray for this family, they need our prayers to give them strenght to make it through and he will carry them all the way , he is gone, but his soul I pray is with the Lord . And for those who don't believe one day you will, and I just hope its not to late because the comming of Jesus Christ is soon my friends.

Heather,

My heart goes out to you and to this family. I am praying for you all.
