WRAL News
Warsaw authorities are investigating the death of an infant found dead at a vacant residence Tuesday.

Investigators said the male child was found wrapped in a blanket shortly before 1 p.m. at 513 E. Chelly St. Two people scouting real estate found the body on the back steps, police said.

"I've investigated a number of deaths, and it does bother you," said Warsaw Police Capt. Jerry Wood, a 14-year veteran. He said he has never seen a case like the one discovered Tuesday.

The boy's body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Jacksonville, and an autopsy is pending.

Police said no one is known to have lived in the house since September.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Warsaw Police Department at 910-293-7816

It is too late to be talking about condoms and keeping your pants up. The baby is here. If they did'nt want it just give it away. People have unprotected sex everyday and will continue it til the end of time. There is nothing we can do about that but we do need to find out who did this baby like that and make them pay. It is a sad story and what's even sadder is things like this will continue to happen. It's not gonna get better. God bless those fools. They will pay in the long run.

YOU HAVE TO BE A HEARTLESS PERSON TO DO SOMETHING AS VICIOUS AS THIS. LIKE I STATED ON THE ROCKY MOUNT CASE, THERE NEEDS TO BE HARSHER LAWS FOR THESE CRIMINALS. EVEN IF THEY FIND THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE, THAT PERSON CAN PLEAD INSANITY AND THEN BE GIVING THE PLEASURE OF LIVING IN A RESORT WITH PADDED WALLS FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. I SAY IF THEY FIND THE CULPRIT, DO TO THEM WHAT THEY DID TO THE POOR VICTIM!!!! WRAP THEM SO UP SO TIGHT THAT THEY CAN'T GET LOOSE AND LEAVE THEM OUT IN THE COLD. SEE HOW THEY LIKE THAT!!!

God certainly is not to blame. We are responsible for our own actions. Satan is who you should place the mis-directed blame on. The Bible says that in the last days mothers would lose a natural affection for their children. Abortions are also part of this trend. The lady was probably on drugs, so you see what you get when you make the decision to alter your mind/senses. "Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God" (God is referred to as HE, by the way, not 'she'.

What is wrong with these women? Where's your heart? If you don't want these precious babies, then please give them to kind loving people who would cherish them! There is no reason at all for this type of thing to ever happen in the U.S.A.....There are far too many couples out there that would give anything to be able to have a child. To them it wouldn't matter where the child came from or what the family history was. Just to be able to have a family of their very own would be enough. Have these women ever heard of adoption or the safe haven law's? Well, middle school and high school would be a great place to start teaching them!

sad story....
