3 More People Charged in Alleged Theft Ring

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities have recovered almost $1 million in stolen property and have arrested three more Cumberland County residents in connection with a theft ring that targeted area churches and businesses.

Terry Ray Cox, 40, of 420 Wakefield Drive in Hope Mills is charged with 21 felonies, including possession of stolen property, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit a felony, larceny of property and criminal conspiracy. He is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $55,000 secured bond.

Terry Nelson Cox, 53, of 2105 John Hall Road in Fayetteville, is charged with one count of felony possession of stolen property after investigators found two tractors and a trailer at a local residence last month. The items had been reported stolen from the Hoke County area and a Fayetteville equipment company, authorities said.

Terry Ray Cox and Terry Nelson Cox are not related.

Debra Barbara Little, 50, of 1010 Faison Ave. in Fayetteville, is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.

Last month, authorities arrested three other people in connection with the theft ring.
