CARY, N.C. — A doll and a noose send a hateful message in Cary.
A homeowner found a black doll with a noose around its neck taped to his car.
The name of the man's teenage son is written on the doll.
Cary police are considering the case a hate crime. So far, there are no suspects.
Investigators do not believe it is related to other recent incidents in the Triangle, involving
burning crosses
and
KKK fliers
