CARY, N.C. — The town of Cary has named its next police chief.
Scott Cunningham, 48, is currently an assistant police chief in Tampa, Fla. He will start later this month.
Cunningham was one of three finalists for the position.
Interim chief, Pat Bazemore, who was also a finalist, will return to her role as assistant chief.
