Moore County Man Drowns In Pond, Authorities Say

MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — A Moore County man drowned to death in a pond near his home Saturday night, the Moore County Sheriff's Office said.
The body of Allen Scott Jordan was found in the pond on
in Jackson Springs.
Authorities said that Jordan's fiancée, Robin McKenzie, began looking for him when she arrived at his house at about 9:30 p.m., and that she and his sister-in-law, Terry Jordan, found him at about 11:30 p.m.
Jordan's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill where the cause of death was ruled a drowning.
