Youth Curfew Remains In Effect For Benson

Posted August 11, 2005

— Young people will have to keep calling it an early night in Benson.

Commissioners voted unanimously to extend the town's youth curfew. Kids 16 years old and younger cannot be on the street after 11 p.m.

The curfew was first adopted in 1995 as an effort to cut late-night cruising.

It must be renewed every two years.
