RALEIGH, N.C. — A routine traffic stop Tuesday afternoon kept about $200,000 worth of cocaine off the streets.
Deputies stopped Ivan Cadiz for following another vehicle too closely. When officers searched Cadiz's truck, a dog found illegal drugs in a hidden compartment of the truck's cab.
Cadiz is being held on a $3 million bond. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Wednesday.
