CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies have arrested a suspect for shooting a man and killing a dog in Cumberland County Sunday afternoon.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Ronnie Dubose killed the dog and shot a man in the back inside the Smith Mobile Home Park on Davis Street.
The victim was taken to a hospital. Deputies said the victim's injuries did not appear life threatening.
They have not released the identity of the victim nor the motive for the shootings.
