77-Year-Old Dies In Motorcycle Accident

WARREN COUNTY, N.C. — A 77-year-old man diedThursday after he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding.

The accident happened shortly before noon on southbound Interstate 85 in Warren County near mile marker 223.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said Robert E. Wilson, of York, Pa., ran off the road to the left and struck a cable guardrail. Wilson was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the crash to determine what caused Wilson to lose control of his bike.
