Jim Cain Confirmed As U.S. Ambassador

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Raleigh attorney and the former president of the Carolina Hurricanes is now the U.S. Ambassador to Denmark.

The U.S. Senate confirmed Jim Cain's nomination on Friday.

President George W. Bush tapped Cain for the role.

Cain was a key fund-raiser in North Carolina for President Bush's re-election campaign.
