CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — After 78 years in business, the lights went down for the last time on a Chapel Hill landmark.
Known for its single 32-foot screen, Carolina Theatre showed its last screening, "March of the Penguins," Thursday night.
The owner said he does not have the customer base to stay in business.
