Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh residents now have a new way to get rid of unwanted items.

The city opened up a swap shop where people can donate any items in working condition. They are also free to take home any items they feel are worth keeping.

The new swap shop, which is located at the Yard Waste Center on New Hope Road, is part of Raleigh's effort to keep usable items out of landfills.
