RALEIGH, N.C. — Agents with the State Bureau of Investigation are analyzing DNA samples taken from a Chapel Hill teenager accused of killing his parents.
This week, investigators issued a search warrant for Adam Sapikowki's DNA.
Police say the teen admits to killing his parents, Alison and James Sapikowski, who were found shot to death in their home in May.
Authorities plan to compare Adam Sapikowski's DNA to evidence found at the scene or the crime.
