A North Raleigh Alltel Wireless store was damaged Wednesday when a woman's car crashed through its window.
Police said Sharon S. Markle's convertible Ford Thunderbird veered left in the parking lot, hit a curb at about 25 mph and became airborne, then crashed through the store window at and stopped inside the store at 4421 Falls of Neuse Road, just south of Millbrook Road.
Police said Markle, 55, of Raleigh, had been stopped in the travel lane of the parking lot before the accident..
There were no reports of injuries, but Markle was taken to WakeMed as a precaution, police said.
Police said charges are pending. No figure was immediately available for the damage to the store.
