HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — A Chapel Hill teenager accused of murdering his parents is scheduled to make another appearance in court Tuesday.
Adam Sapikowski is accused of killing James and Alison Sapikowski. Police found the couple shot to death in their home in May.
Investigators say the murder weapon was a single-fire shotgun that had to be re-loaded before each of the five blasts.
Tuesday's hearing is a chance for laywers to have any motions or concerns heard by a judge, which means the issue of bond may come up again.
Sapikowski remains in police custody.
