Cary Police Chief Candidates Down To Three

Posted Updated

CARY, N.C. — The list of candidates for Cary's police chief is down to the final three.

The town received more than 60 applications from across the country to replace former police Chief Windy Hunter, who retired in May after 29 years.

Assistant Chief Pat Bizemore has temporarily taken over the reins until the town's manager decides on a new chief this summer.

Bizemore is one of the final candidates. The two others are from Pennsylvania and Florida.
