FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A teenager has died from injuries he suffered in a crash in Fayetteville last week.
Fayetteville police said Andrew Gene Collins was involved in a head-on collision on July 12.
Investigators said Collins was racing when he swerved to pass a car on Ramsey Street and lost control.
Collins died over the weekend.
Collins' passenger, Sean Leggett, was treated and released from a local hospital. A woman in another car was injured, but is OK.
No charges are expected to be filed.
