One person was injured in a house fire in Chapel Hill early Monday evening.
Orange County emergency officials said the blaze broke out at a residence on Whitfield Road. Firefighters brought the fire under control, but remained at the scene to completely contain the fire Monday evening.
There was no word on a possible cause of the fire or the severity of the victim’s injuries.
