I worked in Henderson for over 10 years. I was beaten and mugged and the place I worked for was robbed. After that, I left and didn't even go back to shop. I don't know what the problem is - other than beamin1 is right - it is another Durham. In fact, I think it is just as bad as Durham. The sad thing is, it is so out of hand, law enforcement will never get control.

LOL...Caseylynne, Henderson has a Lowes, not a Home Depot (that's Wakeforest). Smoothtip - if you go to Henderson at night, try not to stop in North Henderson or South Henderson...the only safe street after dark is Dabney Drive...

ummmmm .... smoothtip, henderson ... the shopping mecca?? Have you been to Henderson?? I grew up in Oxford, 10 min from Henderson .... there is a walmart, staples, and home depot. It's NOT a shopping mecca my dear!

Henderson is a booming city. Why is there so much poverty? I see job openings all the time. It is a shopping mecca.

Smoothtip99 When poverty in areas increase so does the crime rate.
