Raleigh Police: Man Stabs Woman Before Jumping To His Death

At about 5 p.m. Wednesday, police received a call about a female found stabbed multiple times in an elevator at the Holiday Inn at Crabtree. The woman was later identified as 40-year-old Gloria Salmeron.

Orlando Blanco, 33, was found dead outside the hotel after he had apparently jumped from the 11th floor fire escape exit, investigators said.

Authorities said both people were employees of the hotel and had some type of relationship.

The hotel is still open and operating as normal.
