Fayetteville firefighters battled a large brush fire near Fort Bragg Saturday evening.
Fire officials said the fire was well contained between Riley, Raeford and Cliffdale Roads. No one was injured and no structures were damaged in the fire.
Nearly two dozen firefighters responded to the scene Saturday afternoon. The crews were expected to get help from the North Carolina Forestry Service to ensure the fire wouldn’t spread.
