Durham School Board To Vote To Condemn Recent Cross Burnings
Posted June 23, 2005
DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham School Board may send a message of unity in response to a symbol of hate.
The board plans to vote Thursday night on a resolution condemning recent cross burnings.
Three separate crosses were set on fire on one night earlier this month.
Board members are also expected to talk about public comment policy, something that has divided them in the past.
