GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The future of a historic Goldsboro theater gutted by fire in February is the topic of two meetings Thursday.
A planning committee will meet in the afternoon to talk about rebuilding the Paramount Theatre.
The Goldsboro City Council wants to spend around $5 million to rebuild, but architects warn it could easily cost twice that amount.
The public can weigh in at 6 p.m. at the council chambers of City Hall at 214 N. Center St. in Goldsboro.
