MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — A small plane flying into the Moore County Airport had a rough landing between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say two people were on board a single-engine Cherokee when the plane's landing gear did not work properly. The landing gear collapsed when the plane landed at the airport. As a result, the plane skidded off the runway.
No one was injured as a result of the rough landing.
According to airport officials, the plane sustained minor damage, but it will have to be moved because it cannot fly.
