DURHAM, N.C. — Pink slips will soon be handed out at a pharmaceutical plant in Durham.
Mylan Bertek recently announced it will close its facility on Davis Drive.
Most of the division's 370 employees will be laid off as part of a larger effort to cut costs. The company will not say how many jobs will be saved.
Mylan Bertek, which makes most of its money from the sale of generic drugs, opened the subsidiary in Durham four years ago.
