FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A civilian, who Fort Bragg military police found shot Tuesday night, has died, a spokeswoman for the military base said Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities said 44-year-old Francisco L. Batista was shot two times near Mott Lake in the Fort Bragg training areas while he was raking pine straw. He died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
There are no suspects at this time. The case is still under investigation.
