Laurinburg, N.C. — Two priests were killed Tuesday in an automobile accident in Scotland County.
The Rev. Patrick Shelton, 77, and the Rev. David Draim, 63, died from injuries sustained in the accident. Details about the accident have not yet been released.
Both served the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. Both men have been with the Diocese since 1998.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
