Man Wanted For Double Murder In Scotland County Turns Himself In

Posted Updated

SCOTLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A man suspected of double murder in Scotland County turned himself in to police in Florida Saturday.

Investigators said 24-year-old Albert Ramos shot and killed his mother and stepfather in the couple's home Friday.

They are still trying to determine the motive for the killings, but it appears that Ramos may have robbed his parents to get money for drugs.

Investigators said Ramos would be brought back to North Carolina later this week to face murder charges.
