RALEIGH, N.C. — Officials have issued a weekend traffic alert for Triangle motorists who plan to use the eastern areas of the Beltline.
Road crews will reduce the I-440 Outer and Inner Beltline to one lane between I-40 and Capital Boulevard.
The lane closures start Friday at 10 p.m. and run until 6 a.m. Monday morning.
This is expected to impact traffic for this weekend's Toby Keith concert at Alltel Pavilion.
Also over the weekend, the New Bern Avenue on ramp to the Inner beltline may close at times for paving.
