Fayetteville, N.C. — A woman died following a chain-reaction crash in Fayetteville late Monday afternoon, city police said.
The accident happened about 4:50 p.m. on Skibo Road near McPherson Church Road.
Police gave the victim's name Monday night as Zorinda Blue, but they did not identify her further. She was the only one seriously injured.
It was not clear whether Blue died of injuries from the accident or if a preexisting medical condition was to blame, police said. Their investigation was continuing.
