ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Crews spent hours Friday night trying to get a fire at a mattress factory under control.
The Southern Mattress Manufacturing Company is off Highway 43 outside of Rocky Mount.
Flames destroyed a storage building, and crews spent the night trying to contain the fire to the main building.
There is no word on injuries or the extent of damage.
